        Fifteen year old Tim Solomon goes on a trip to Drake Industries (a multi-billion dollar corporation founded by Ethan Drake). While there he and his classmates had the opportunity to be the first people in the public eye to witness the test of the companies newest project, a portal used for interstellar travel. Ethan Drake is trying to prove that interstellar space travel is possible because when his scientist discovered a wormhole and he wants embark on a voyage through it. But to prove that it will truly be a success, he sent a satellite in space through the wormhole and the satellite is connected to the portal door, so when the satellite activates it will open a doorway from its location through the portal. One of NASA's bravest astronauts had volunteered to go through. The astronaut is strapped to a harness and is ready to go, a scientist activates the satellite, an alarm sounded and the portal opened.  

        A change in pressure rushes air out through the portal and the astronaut goes through. After a few seconds, the pressure stabilized and through the portal, a view of another planet could be seen. The astronaut and everyone else watching was in awe at the new planet, and for no apparent reason, the planet exploded. As the planet's pieces were flung into space, colored lights rushed to escape the destruction and headed towards the portal. The lights made their way through the portal and scattered across the facility. The chaperone told the students to head back to the bus. All of a sudden Tim was caught in the flash of lights and passed out. Tim later learned that he has absorbed the spirit of Zaker, a Hyperian from the now dead planet, Hyperia. Hyperians are beings that can control the eight different elemental powers; Lightning, Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Nature, Ice, and Darkness. Zaker controlled lightning and now, so does Tim Solomon.
